| RHI (Registered Home Inspector) members have demonstrated their proficiency by performing no fewer than 250 fee-paid inspections in accordance with the CAHPI Standard of Practices; they have also passed a series of written examinations testing their knowledge of residential construction, inspection techniques, report writing, and the Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. Members carry mandatory Errors & Omissions Insurance. Retaining membership requires each Member to earn 40 continuing education credits every two years.
